Terrianne was born in Melbourne, Australia. She left school to pursue a creative career in hairdressing. In 1987, she sold her hairdressing business to become a full time artist.
From an early age, Terrianne was surrounded by architectural drawings and portrait paintings created by her father and mother. It was not surprising that she grew up captivated by art.
Initially Terrianne painted wildlife subjects on smooth river rocks but as her career evolved, figures and portraits of people became her passion. This is evident in the way she makes an emotional connection with each subject. Charcoal is a main medium in most of her work, combined with a range of mixed media.
Terrianne spent a seven-year period painting commissioned artworks in conjunction with some of Melbourne’s leading Interior Designers. In 1986 she became a founding committee member of The Pastel Society of Victoria. Terrianne has received numerous awards and has exhibited throughout Australia and Internationally.
